Backup administrator

Our client is a leading software development company within the mobile telecoms industry. Due to expansion they are now looking for professionals to fill the position.

Tasks:

• operation of Veritas Netbackup in highly available multiplatform environment,
• conception, integration and administration of backup systems in a client/server, LAN/SAN/WAN environment.
• implementation of customer orientated policies and development of disaster recovery scenarios,
• controlling systems, optimizing their performance and stability.

• relevant college or university degree or relevant experience,
• Veritas Netbackup 6.xx or higher,
• SUSE Linux, Windows, Solaris, HPUX,
• IP based Networking,
• Scripting in Batch, UNIX-Shell,
• Brocade SAN,
• intermediate German and English.
