Senior Linux / Unix system administrator

Our client is a leading software development company within the mobile telecoms industry. Due to expansion they are now looking for professionals to fill the position

Tasks:

• building and operation of UNIX systems,
• providing 2nd level support to international customers from the company’s service centre in Budapest,
• building and development of processes and methods, automation, optimization and standardization of operations,
• introduction of new technologies,
• 7/24 on-call duty for one or two weeks monthly.

• high school degree,
• at least 3 years experience in the operation of UNIX or UNIX (HP-UX/ IBM AIX/ Sun Solaris, Liniux or BSD) systems: customization, tuning, storage capacity management etc.
• intermediate German and English.
