NAS administrator

Our client is a leading software development company within the mobile telecoms industry. Due to expansion they are now looking for professionals to fill the position

Tasks:

• running complex projects in a high availability multiserver environment with focussing on NAS Storage devices,
• conception, integration and administration of NAS systems in a client/server, LAN/SAN/WAN environment,
• monitoring and optimizing the systems with a focus on throughput and stability.

• relevant college or university degree or relevant experience,
• RAID technologies,
• datamirroring / replication,
• Ethernet, TCP/IP, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI and FCP,
• Microsoft Windows and Unix (Solaris, HP/UX, AIX or Linux),
• understanding and writing of batches and UNIX-Shell scripts,
• intermediate German and English.
